Model 9284SA analog indicating alarm meter is the latest generation in indicating alarm meters from Versatile Measuring Instruments. It is a direct replacement for Sigma / Versatile model 9283 for OPG Pickering. The 9284SA uses all solid-state electronic components with no embedded firmware. With modern electronic components, model 9284SA provides superior accuracy, drift, and electromagnetic interference immunity over the legacy design of the 9283 for OPG Pickering.

Model 9284SA utilizes a proven meter movement design consisting of a pivot and jewel moving coil element. The meter is housed in the same enclosure design as the legacy meters it was designed to replace, eliminating mechanical retrofit issues.

Three adjustments are accessible at the front panel with a standard screwdriver. The three adjustments include the mechanical zero adjustment and setpoint adjustments for the high and low relays.
